Digital Solutions / Inmate Telephone, Inc. Holds Golf Outing with a Charitable Goal.

 

Annual event donating proceeds from this year’s event to charity.

  

 

Altoona, Pennsylvania – August 31, 2009 -  The annual Digital Solutions / Inmate Telephone, Inc. (DSI / ITI) golf outing that is incorporated into the yearly DSI / ITI user conference has a different twist this year; proceeds raised will benefit the Miracle League of Blair County. 

“Local and national organizations and individuals are excited about the charitable nature of this year’s golf outing,” said Thomas Brence, Marketing Director for DSI /ITI. “We’ve had a tremendous amount of support for the Miracle League.  This is the first year we’ve run the golf outing as a charity event and we are very pleased with the response,” Brence said.

The nearly eighty golfers who will take part in the golf outing on September 14 also have a chance to support the Miracle League of Blair County during the event by purchasing cards good for mulligans, throws or power tee upgrades.   “The golfers really have a good time and the charity benefits- it’s really a win-win,” said Brence.

The golf outing is being sponsored by DSI/ITI and the Keefe Group, a nation-wide corrections commissary provider, as well as over 20 hole sponsors.  Brence said that DSI / ITI is proud to be able to give back locally.  “We can’t wait to give the Miracle League their check.  We know they can really make a difference in Blair County with the money raised”
